Grueby Pottery squat form flared lip vase with six well tooled leaves and three 4-petal flowers. It is covered in a deep striated matte green glaze which perfectly covers the leaf edges and flowers of the sharply tooled decoration. It measures 5 3/8 inches in diameter at the widest point and 4 1/2 inches tall. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. The Grueby Pottery Boston USA die-stamp is incredibly clear, it's dated 1-11-07 and there is an incised S.M. for the modeler (unknown).
