Grueby Pottery 2 color tall ovoid form vase with 7 leaves, and buds. It is covered in their famous curdled matte green glaze, with bright yellow flower buds, perfectly executed with no drip. It measures 12 1/4 inches tall and 6 1/4 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with only a restored drill hole in the base, and no chips, cracks, or firing flaws. An impression of the circular Grueby Pottery Co Boston USA die-stamp is barely visible under the glaze. An excellent example of the quintessential Arts & Crafts New England art pottery.
