Grueby Pottery & Tile Co waterlily tile with their famous very well curdled matte green, white, and tan glazes on the earlier buff clay. Glazed sides indicating it was made as a trivet. It measures 6 inches square and about 1 inch thick. (12" square framed). Unmarked with the exception of glazer's initials. It is in great condition with only nicks to the corners, one filled in, and no other chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. Framed in a custom arts & crafts oak frame.
