Grueby Pottery vase with 5 well tooled leaves around the bulbous bottom of this hand thrown cylindrical neck form. It is covered in a beautifully curdled light matte green glaze. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or firing flaws. Marked with the Grueby Pottery Boston USA die-stamp mark which is partially visible under the pooled glaze of the foot. It measures 7 inches high and 4 1/4 inches in diameter at the widest. A good example of the quintessential Arts & Crafts New England art pottery.
