Grueby Pottery leaf and bud vase with 5 well tooled leaves, vertical stems, and buds at the rim of this hand thrown pear shaped form. Covered with their famous curdled matte green glaze with yellow around the flowers. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, just some bubbles in the glaze. Faintly marked with the Grueby Pottery Boston USA circular die-stamp and modeler's initials ERF for Ellen Farrington. It measures 7 5/8 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter at the widest.
