Grueby Pottery leaf and bud two color vase with 5 well tooled leaves, vertical stems, and yellow buds at the rim of this classic bulbous bottom form. Covered with their famous curdled matte green glaze and sharp yellow buds with no slippage. It measures 6 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches in diameter at the widest. A tiny rim chip was filled in and is not noticeable, and it's in otherwise great condition with no other chips, cracks, or firing flaws. Marked with the Grueby Pottery Boston USA circular die-stamp and inscribed modeler's initials RE for Ruth Erickson.
