Grueby Pottery exceptional tall vase modeled by Wilhelmina Post with alternating high and low leaves on a form typically decorated with floral sprays. It is covered in a curdled, separated, and dripping matte green glaze, over crisply tooled leaves. It measures 12 inches tall and 6 1/4 inches in diameter at the widest. Two rim chips have been filled in, otherwise it is in great condition with no cracks or firing flaws. Marked with the Grueby Pottery Co Boston USA die-stamp and conjoined WP modeler’s initials.
