Grueby Pottery leaf and bud two color vase with 3 well tooled leaves, vertical stems, and buds at the tri-pinched rim of this classic form. Covered with their famous curdled matte green glaze and bright yellow buds with no slippage. Several glaze bubbles at the rim and edges have been filled in and no chips, cracks, or firing flaws. Illegibly marked with the glaze with the Grueby Pottery Boston USA circular die-stamp and original labels. It measures 6 3/4 inches tall and about 4 1/2 inches in diameter at the widest. An excellent example of this form from the quintessential Arts & Crafts New England art pottery.
