Grueby Pottery two color vase with eight well tooled leaves, vertical stems, and yellow buds on this classic jardiniere form. Covered with their famous curdled matte green glaze with bright yellow buds. In great condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, just a small glaze miss on one leaf. Marked with the Grueby Pottery Boston USA circular die-stamp and inscribed modeler’s initials MS for Marie Seaman. It measures 7 1/2” in diameter and 6 3/4’ tall. , Boston MA, c. 1905. An excellent example of 2-color Grueby.
