Hampshire Pottery ovoid vase with twelve overlapping leaves. It is covered in one of their best glazes, a variegated and curdled blue that they called "Peacock". Made in Keene New Hampshire before 1923 this pottery was influenced by Boston's Grueby Pottery. Marked Hampshire Pottery with the in the mold mark, an M in a circle for Emoretta Robertson, and 127 the shape number. It measures 8 1/4 inches tall and 6 3/4 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs.
