Hampshire Pottery bowl which was thrown on the wheel and hand carved with a feather design. Hampshire employed a potter to throw the simpler plain shapes, but this one is hand decorated. It has their famous smooth matte green glaze with a glossy rose pink interior. Made in Keene New Hampshire before 1923. Marked with the hand incised Hampshire Pottery and the M in a circle for Emoretta Robertson. It measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter and 2 1/2 inches high. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, just a couple clay shrinkage fissures on the bottom from the heavy clay. A special piece of New England Arts & Crafts art pottery.
