Marblehead Pottery floral decorated vase
$0.00
Marblehead Pottery decorated acorn shaped small vase with an incised design of a spray of blue flowers and green leaves against a matte speckled gray ground. The interior is a glossy robin's egg blue. It measures 3 5/8 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws. There are some faint impressions on the bottom, possibly their die-stamped MP ship mark. The pottery was founded in Massachusetts by Dr Herbert Hall, run by Arthur Baggs, and dates to about 1915. A fine piece of New England Arts & Crafts art pottery.
