Marblehead Pottery decorated canted form vase with an incised floral design of orange centered blue flowers, green leaves, and brown stems against a matte speckled sandy yellow ground. The interior is a glossy greenish clear showing the clay. It measures about 3 3/4 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws or repairs. Marked with the firm's die-stamped MP and ship mark. The pottery was founded in Massachusetts by Dr Herbert Hall, run by Arthur Baggs, and dates to about 1915. A fine piece of New England Arts & Crafts art pottery.
