Marblehead Pottery decorated acorn shaped vase with a four color design of stylized peacock feathers against a speckled matte sand yellow ground. The interior is greenish gloss. It measures 3 1/2 inches tall and 3 3/8 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws or repairs. Marked with the firm's die-stamped MP and ship mark and HT for designer Hennessey and decorator Sarah Tutt. The pottery was founded in Massachusetts by Dr Herbert Hall, run by Arthur Baggs, and dates to about 1915.
