Marblehead Pottery decorated tile of a tugboat or ship at sea with clouds in the sky and trees at the horizon in tones of blue, green and cream. It measures 4 3/8 inches square and about 3/8 an inch thick. Framed in an oak arts & crafts frame (8"x8"). It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. Marked with their impressed MP ship mark. The pottery was founded in Massachusetts by Dr Herbert Hall, run by Arthur Baggs, and dates to about 1915.
