Edwin and Mary Scheier studio pottery large footed bowl with a glossy mottled blue colored glaze and a flared form. Thrown by Mary and made of their 1950's beige clay. It measures 10 inches in diameter and 2 1/2 inches high. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. Signed Scheier inside the foot. The Scheiers taught ceramics at the University of New Hampshire from the late 1930's through the late 1960's
