Newcomb College Pottery exceptional oak tree, full moon and moss scenic landscape vase in their signature matte blue and green glazes. Deeply carved with excellent contrast and rich color, it is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws. It measures 13 1/2 inches tall and 7 1/4 inches in diameter at the widest. Marked with the firm's die-stamped NC mark, JM for the potter Joseph Meyer, a conjoined AFS for decorator Anna Francis Simpson, and date code PO84 for 1926.
