Newcomb College Pottery pine tree vase

$3,650.00

Newcomb College Pottery transitional pine tree day scenic landscape vase in their signature matte light blue green glazes. Nicely carved with good contrast and color. It measures 6 1/2 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. Faintly marked with the firm's die-stamped NC mark, JM for the potter Jonathan Hunt, SI for decorator Sadie Irvine, and date code HT89 for 1915. A fine example of the quintessential southern Arts & Crafts art pottery.
