Clifton Pottery Crystal Patina large vase. An exceptional example of their celadon green crystalline glaze and unusually marked with the glaze name. It measures 13 inches tall and 8 inches in diameter at the widest. Marked Clifton, 1907, their conjoined cypher, shape number 175, and Crystal Patina. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws. Clifton was started by William Long (of Lonhuda, Denver Denaura, and Weller fame), the pottery was located in Newark New Jersey and made between 1905 and 1909 when William Long left and returned to Weller. An unusual piece of Arts & Crafts era art pottery.
