Clifton Pottery "Indian Ware" large vase. It measures 7 1/2 inches tall and 12 1/2 inches in diameter. Marked Clifton, with their arrow cypher, shape number 240, and Pueblo Viejo Upper Gla Valley, Ariz. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws. Clifton was started by William Long (of Lonhuda, Denver Denaura, and Weller fame), the pottery was located in Newark New Jersey and made between 1905 and 1909 when William Long left and returned to Weller. An unusual piece of Arts & Crafts era art pottery.
