Rookwood Pottery vellum matte finish cylinder vase or brush pot decorated by Lorinda Epply. It has a band of silhouetted bamboo stalks and leaves against a bluish white background. It measures about 7 inches tall and 3 3/16 inches in diameter at the widest. Marked with the RP die-stamp, VIII for 1908, shape number 1124L, V for vellum, and a conjoined LE for the artist. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws or repairs, and only the typical crazing. A beautiful example of arts & crafts Rookwood vellum.
