Rookwood Pottery scenic landscape matte finish vellum vase decorated by Ed Diers. A group of trees on an island is reflected in a pond in a blue, green, brown, and gray scene with creamy white sky and distant horizon. It measures 6 5/8 inches tall and 3 1/8 inches in diameter at the widest. Marked with the RP die-stamp, XIX for 1919, shape number 1658F, V for vellum, and ED for the artist. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws or repairs, and only the typical crazing. A beautiful example of arts & crafts Rookwood vellum.
