Rookwood Pottery carved matt vase with swirling peacock feathers around the shoulder. Deeply carved by Charles Stewart Todd and glazed in rich matte flambe tan, brown, and green glazes. It is great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws or repairs. It measures 7 1/2 inches high and 3 5/8 inches in diameter at the widest. Die-stamped with the Rookwood RP mark and XIV for 1914, shape number 939D and an incised C.S.T.
