Rookwood Pottery scenic landscape vellum glaze baluster shape vase depicting trees on the edge of a lake with a wooded horizon and pink sky by Edward Timothy Hurley (1896-1948). It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws, and only moderate crazing. It measures 5 5/8” tall and 3 1/4” in diameter at the widest. Marked with the firms die-stamp, XXI for 1921, shape number 913F, V for vellum, and a conjoined ETH for the artist. A beautiful example, well painted and with good color by the famous Cincinnati Ohio pottery.
