Rookwood Pottery iris glaze vase

$995.00

Rookwood Pottery iris glaze vase decorated by Lenora Ashbury. It has a spray of Queen Anne’s lace flowers, green leaves and stems against a shaded greenish white to pink to gray ground on a cylindrical form with a squared off bottom. It measures 10 1/2 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter at the widest. Marked with the RP die-stamp, Roman numeral VI dating it to 1906, shape # 821C, W for Iris glaze, and an incised L.A. for the artist. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs, and only the typical crazing. A great shape showing Rookwood's floral artistry in arts & crafts pottery.
