Rookwood Pottery production paperweight of a wolf or dog in a smooth matte olive green glaze with a brown blush. It measures 5 3/4 inches from paw to tail, 2 1/2 inches wide, and about 2 1/4 inches tall. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws. Marks include the RP die-stamped mark, XXVI for 1926, and shape number 2679. A beautiful example of Rookwood's figural production art pottery.
