Rookwood Pottery scenic landscape matte finish vellum vase decorated by Sally Elizabeth Coyne. Trees stand on the shore of a lake in a blue, green, and gray scene with a pinkish white sky and distant horizon. It measures 4.5 inches tall and 3.75 inches in diameter at the widest. Marked with the RP die-stamp, XXI for 1921, shape number 53, V for vellum, and an incised SEC for the artist. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws or repairs, and only the typical crazing. A beautiful example of arts & crafts Rookwood vellum.
