Rookwood Pottery vase with squeeze-bag slip decoration of eucalyptus fronds by one of their best mid century ceramics artists, William Hentschel. The design is in dark brown slip on a matte blue green ground. It measures 6 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches in diameter at the widest. Marked with the RP die-stamp, XXVIII for 1928, shape # 604F and a con-joined WEH for artist William Hentschel. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs.
