Saturday Evening Girls Paul Revere Pottery landscape medallion teapot
Saturday Evening Girls Paul Revere Pottery landscape medallion teapot
Saturday Evening Girl's SEG Paul Revere Pottery teapot decorated with a colorful landscape medallion. There is a matte green tree with a brown trunk at the shore of a lake and a distant tree line with a sunrise or sunset sky. The initials SLK are in black against a two tone blue ground. Die-stamped with the Paul Revere seal, dated 1926, with decorator mark JMD (unknown). It measures 8 7/8 inches handle to spout and 4 5/8 inches high. There is an old repair to the spout and a tiny chip to the underside of the lid edge, but it is in otherwise good condition considering most pieces were intended for use by children. A nice piece of Arts and Crafts New England PRP art pottery.
