Saturday Evening Girls Paul Revere Pottery pitcher decorated with triple "long neck chickens" incised 3 times around a matte blue green and white band on the outside. The inside is a creamy white. A hard to find, classic design, inspired by the book illustrations of Edith Brown. It is only signed S.E.G., probably from the early to mid teens. It measures 3 1/2 inches in diameter, 4 3/4 inches spout to handle, and 2 3/4 inches high. This pitcher is in good condition considering most pieces were intended for use by children, but the handle was broken off and glued back on and there are several tiny rim nicks touched up. No big chips, cracks, or firing flaws. A good piece of Arts and Crafts New England art pottery.
