Teco Pottery vase with two buttress open handles. It is shape number 440 in the Teco catalog designed by W. D. Gates. It has the famous Teco matte green glaze and a little charcoaling. It measures 6 inches tall and 4 3/4 inches wide. It is in good condition with only two tiny nicks to one handle and no big chips, cracks, or firing flaws, or repairs. Signed 3 times with the firm's die-stamped mark. A quintessential form by the famous Chicago Arts & Crafts Prairie School Art Pottery.
