Teco Pottery four buttress “rocket ship” vase. Designed by W.D. Gates, it is shape number 431 in the Teco catalog. It has the famous Teco matte green signature glaze with a little charcoaling. It measures 9 7/8 inches tall and about 4 1/4 inches across the buttress’. In excellent condition with just two teeny nicks touched up, otherwise no other chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. Signed three times under the foot with the firm's die-stamped mark.
