Teco Pottery matte green reticulated tulip vase
Teco Pottery matte green reticulated tulip vase
Teco Pottery rare and beautiful reticulated tulip vase. Designed by W.J. Dodd, it is shape number 151, called a "Cut Flower Vase" in the Teco catalog where the comments say it all, (see picture). It has the famous Teco matte green signature glaze with a little charcoaling. It measures about 10 3/4 inches tall and 5 5/8 inches in diameter at the base. It is in excellent condition with only a hairline between two reticulations and a small leaf tip chip restored and no other issues or firing flaws, (see last two pictures). Signed twice under the glaze with the firm's die-stamped mark. Perfectly glazed & fired, an excellent piece of Arts & Crafts prairie school art pottery.
