Van Briggle Pottery early vase with a matte lime green glaze and a curdled brown blush over the trefoil flowers. It is number 159 in the shape book, designed in 1903, height 4 1/2", and the design is called "Spiderwort". It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. It measures 4 1/2 inches tall and 4 3/8 inches in diameter at the widest. Marks include the firm's double AA box mark, shape number 159, and the date, 1904.
